June has been another fantastic month across Mark Jermin. Filled with energy, dedication and continued progress. We’ve loved seeing students back in our Surrey and Swansea classes, with sessions full of focus and creativity as performers continue to develop their skills week by week!
There’s also been a real buzz around self‑tape work this month, with students putting in outstanding effort and embracing the process with confidence and professionalism. It’s been incredible to see the level of commitment and improvement across the board.
We’re especially proud of how our students continue to shine in every session. We love watching their journeys unfold, from the classroom to real opportunities on screen!
It’s Pride Month!
In our Jerminactors class this month, students have explored spoken word, using performance as a powerful tool for self‑expression.
In celebration of Pride Month, these sessions encouraged individuality, storytelling, and confidence, giving performers the space to share their voice, embrace identity, and connect with meaningful themes through their work.
At Mark Jermin, we believe Pride is more than just a moment in the calendar, it’s something we carry through everything we do. We’re proud to create a space where every performer feels seen, supported and able to be themselves. We will be celebrating individuality and inclusion all year round.
Adult classes
In our Adult classes this term, we are focusing on two of the most deeply moving stories on stage:
Inter Alia: Staring Rosamund Pike and written by Suzie Miller
Guess how much I love you: Staring Olivier nominated Actor and Mark Jermin acting coach Rosie Sheehy and double BAFTA award winner Robert Aramayo
Inter Alia
Flora Dawson, who plays Rosamund Pike’s alternate in West End production of Inter Alia, and has appeared alongside many Mark Jermin students in BBC’s Malory Towers, will be in class!
Guess How Much I Love You
Rosie has been visiting classes, guiding students through the emotional depth of the play and showing them how to handle sensitive themes like grief – balancing truthful performance with emotional wellbeing
Rosie will be starring alongside Sydney Sweeney in their upcoming film, Custom Of The Country
