Mark
Jermin

For more than three decades, Mark Jermin has been one of the UK’s most passionate and influential champions of young talent, dedicating his life to nurturing performers, building confidence, and creating genuine opportunities within the arts industry. As the founder of the Mark Jermin Stage School and Mark Jermin Management, he has helped shape the careers of countless actors, singers, and performers who have gone on to achieve success across television, film, theatre, and the West End.

Mark’s journey in the performing arts began at an early age. A gifted performer, he performed throughout the UK and Germany as a solo boy soprano before developing his acting and theatrical skills through youth theatre and stage productions in Swansea. Even as a teenager, Mark demonstrated an extraordinary instinct for teaching and mentoring others, founding a small drama group at the age of just 15. What began in a local community hall would later grow into one of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions.

Driven by a belief that every young person deserves the chance to shine, Mark built the Mark Jermin Stage School on the foundations of excellence, inclusivity, professionalism, and opportunity. Under his leadership, the school has expanded from its original Swansea base into a respected and thriving creative organisation with branches across Wales, England, and online platforms that reach students worldwide.

Today, the Mark Jermin Stage School is recognised as one of the UK’s most successful specialist performing arts schools, renowned for its exceptional training, industry-led coaching, and professional opportunities. Students regularly work alongside leading casting directors, agents, producers, and creatives, while many graduates continue on to prestigious drama schools including RADA, LAMDA, Mountview, ArtsEd, Laine Theatre Arts, Guildford School of Acting, and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Mark’s impact on the industry can be seen through the remarkable success of his students and alumni. Performers who began their journeys under his guidance have appeared in major productions for Netflix, BBC, Disney, ITV, Amazon Prime, Sky, and in award-winning West End productions. His unwavering commitment to discovering and developing talent has earned him widespread respect throughout the entertainment industry.

Alongside the stage school, Mark founded Mark Jermin Management, a highly respected talent agency representing both children and adults across film, television, theatre, commercials, voice-over, and presenting work. The agency has built an outstanding reputation for professionalism, integrity, and personal support, connecting performers with some of the entertainment industry’s biggest opportunities both in the UK and internationally.

As a creative practitioner himself, Mark has also received critical acclaim for his writing, directing, and performance work. His one-man play Aberfan was widely praised, later being reimagined as Children of Mine for Mark Jermin Stage School students. The production achieved national recognition at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, winning the award for Outstanding Ensemble in 2013.

What truly defines Mark Jermin is not simply his success, but his enduring passion for the arts and the transformative power of performance. Throughout his 30-year career, he has consistently invested in young people, championed creativity, and created safe, inspiring spaces where confidence can flourish. His work has changed lives — not only by helping students become performers, but by helping them believe in themselves.

Mark continues to inspire the next generation of artists through his vision, leadership, and relentless dedication to the performing arts. His legacy is evident not only in the achievements of his students, but in the thriving artistic community he has built — one rooted in opportunity, ambition, creativity, and heart.
